Complaints And Conduct

Find guidance on making a complaint, understanding student conduct expectations, and navigating UHI policies. This section covers the UHI and HISA complaints processes, the Student Code of Conduct, disciplinary procedures, and the Support to Study process. Get the information you need to resolve issues and seek support.

  • Student Conduct Procedures Misconduct at UHI may result in disciplinary action, including improper interference with the university's functioning or activities. If you allegedly breached UHI's Student Code of Conduct, the Advice Service can assist you with the student conduct procedures.
  • UHI Complaints If you are unhappy about something that the University has done (or not done) or about a member of staff, you have a right to complain about this and we can support you in doing so.
  • Students Association Complaints If you are unhappy about something that the Students' Association is responsible for or about a member of staff or officer, you can raise a complaint about this.
